Most of you know me as a hobby photographer. Any site I have been a member of, was all about photography. It truly is my passion and I’m always learning.
But there is another side to me. Last February, I decided to open a FB buy and sell page. I started with one member and now have over 1000. It is a local business where I sell new and gently used unique items. Its called “Treasures from Robins Nest”
I run auctions and straight sales and through this venture, I have met some wonderful people. There have been ups and there have been downs but on the whole it has been a wonderful experience. One thing I will say is, it keeps me extremely busy and there are times my photography has to take a back seat.
So, whenever you see me missing in action, this is what I will be doing. 🙂

“But look around at this world, how perfectly it’s made. Flowers can’t move, yet the insects come to them and spread their pollen. Trees can’t move either, but birds and animals eat their fruit and carry their seeds far and wide.”
“A caterpillar must endure a season of isolation before it turns into a butterfly. Embrace the time you have alone, it will only make you stronger.”
― Steven Aitchison
“Morning is the best of all times in the garden. The sun is not yet hot. Sweet vapors rise from the earth. Night dew clings to the soil and makes plants glisten. Birds call to one another. Bees are already at work.”
Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same.
As most of you know I was in Port Stanley Ontario over the weekend. This is a very popular beach community in the summer but it seems the nice temperatures this past weekend brought a lot of people out to Port Stanley. Instead of swimming in Lake Erie, people were climbing hills of ice and snow on the shoreline..haha…
Here are a few pictures I took while walking along the shores of Lake Erie.

As beautiful as it was this weekend, I do prefer the beach in the summer. How about you?
